The oldest free fair in the Iberian Peninsula returns to Viseu for a month of concerts, food and fairground rides. Our houses are within walking distance of the grounds — no traffic and no hunting for parking on concert nights.

Three days of engines in the Caramulo hills, just outside Viseu.
Caramulo Motorfestival takes over the Caramulo hills, in the municipality of Tondela, for three days: the Castrol historic hill climb, an air show, ride-outs and gatherings, an off-road track, an automobilia fair and exhibitions. The organisers bill it as the largest motor festival in Portugal. Viseu is the nearest city to the site — from here you can do all three days without moving house halfway through.

Estádio Municipal do Fontelo hosts the 2026 Supertaça Feminina Vodafone, the Portuguese women's super cup: SL Benfica, league champions and Taça de Portugal winners, face FC Porto, beaten finalists in that cup. It is the official start of the women's football season, live on RTP1. Our houses are in the centre of Viseu, right by the Fontelo — no traffic and no hunting for parking on match day.

Eight producers open their cellars in the middle of the harvest.
The second edition of Dão de Portas Abertas, run by CIM Viseu Dão Lafões with the Dão regional wine board: eight estates host exclusive wine-tourism programmes during the harvest — tastings with winemakers, must tastings, vineyard and cellar visits, wine lunches and dinners, and live music. Viseu is the natural base for both days without changing house.
