How the 2026 edition went

The 634th Feira de São Mateus ran from 6 August to 6 September 2026 at Campo de Viriato in Viseu — 31 days of live music on the main stage, restaurants, funfair, crafts, sport and the traditional free fair.

The grounds sit just north of the city centre, a short walk from the historic quarter. Every year traffic is restricted and parking near the grounds fills early, so staying in the centre means walking there and back. The same will be true next year.
